Details: On May 27, the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned a representative of the Russian Embassy and handed him a note of protest against continuing military crimes that commit the Armed Forces of Russia.

“Lithuania strongly condemns the killings of unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war, as well as intensified shelling of Ukrainian cities with rockets and drones,” the statement said.

“Lithuania reminds that such actions are war crimes, have no statute of limitations, and all those who are guilty of their commission will be held accountable sooner or later,” the country’s foreign policy department emphasized.

In addition, Lithuania also noted that, refusing to declare at least a 30-day ceasefire, Russia demonstrates its aggressive intention to continue its war and actually rejects the efforts of the international community aimed at the cessation of the killings of Ukrainian civilians.

“Lithuania will continue to support Ukraine’s efforts to protect against the aggressor,” the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded.

According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of May 24, the Russians launched 14 ballistic missiles of Iskander-M/KN-23 and 250 percussion drones in Ukraine.

The next night, against May 25, Russia tried to hit 367 air attacks, including ballistic, winged and controlled missiles, as well as drones. And on the night of May 26, Russia launched 364 remedies across Ukraine, including winged missiles and shock drones.
