The spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova responded to the agreement on the creation of a special tribunal to investigate the crimes of aggression against Ukraine, signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Allen Berse on June 25.

Details: Zakharova expectedly stated that Moscow did not recognize the jurisdiction of a special tribunal on the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

According to her, for Russia, the work and decision of the special journey on the crime of aggression against Ukraine “will be void”.

“We will be regarded as an enemy demarche to it, which reflects the desire not to settle, but to deepen the current crisis around Ukraine,” she added.

Zakharova, in the Council of Europe, was accused of “shaping quasiuric mechanisms against Russia.”

• On June 25, the Agreement on the Creation of a Special Tribune on Aggression Crime was signed in the Council of Europe building in Strasbourg during the first visit of Zelensky to this organization.
