During his visit to Italy, the head of Kyiv OVA Ruslan Kravchenko met with the Vice President and representatives of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Tuscany. They were interested in the possibility of cooperation with entrepreneurs of the Kyiv region within the framework of an online platform, where representatives of business, companies and production of the two regions will interact, sell their services and products, reports UNN.

“We already have such a platform with our twin state of Washington in the USA. Now we are working on the implementation of the same tool with Tuscany. In two weeks, we agreed to hold an online meeting in an extended format to discuss the possible implementation of specific projects,” said Ruslan Kravchenko.

Italian companies can invest in the development of infrastructure, production, energy, agro-industry and other industries, providing thousands of residents of Kyiv region with work. In addition, Italian investments will contribute to the development of export-oriented production, which will strengthen the position of Kyiv Region on international markets.

The head of Kyiv OVA also met with representatives of the agricultural sector of Tuscany.

During the meeting, the urgent needs of agricultural producers of Kyiv region were discussed. One of them is that after the de-occupation of the region, a part of the agricultural land remains mined, which makes it unsuitable for cultivation. In addition, due to constant shelling, a significant part of the equipment was lost.

Another challenge is the lack of manpower. Therefore, the maximum transition to the automation of work becomes more relevant than ever for the agrarians of the capital region.

“Agricultural producers of the Kyiv region are interested in implementing new modern agricultural innovations that will allow to increase productivity, while remaining ecologically and economically frugal. Farmers also need help in rebuilding logistics facilities. The need of farmers for independent electricity supply was also discussed. These are biogas plants, solar power plants , cogeneration plants. He also invited Italian farmers to join the work within the framework of the online platform for business,” said the head of KOVA.
