“Yesterday, law enforcement officers found a publication on social networks that a car with an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle attached to its roof is located on the territory of the capital residential complex. The investigative and operative group of the Darnytsia police and explosives department went to the scene of the incident. Specialists examined the dangerous object – it turned out to be an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Shahed type with a depleted warhead, i.e. one that does not pose a threat to the life and safety of citizens,” said the message published on November 5.
The police noted that the owner of the vehicle, a 30-year-old local resident who is the head of a public organization, explained that he planned to hand over the drone to the museum.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with Shahed drones, as well as missiles, anti-tank missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
