In September 2025, the largest sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine were recorded in Kyiv, as well as Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Kharkiv regions, reports “Ukravtoprom”. These regions accounted for 67% of all new car registrations for the month.

2,198 cars were purchased in the capital, 727 in Kyiv region, 538 in Dnipropetrovsk region, 368 in Odesa, and 364 in Kharkiv region.

The main trend of September was the popularity of electric cars. Model Volkswagen ID.UNYX topped the sales rankings in three regions at once — Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions.

In Kyiv, the car became the most popular Renault Dusterand in the Odesa region he became the leader of the month BYD Song Plus.

In general, the share of electric cars on the Ukrainian market continues to grow, which indicates the gradual electrification of the car fleet even in regions outside the capital.

We will remind you that in September, Ukrainians bought more than 6,800 new passenger cars. This is 20% more than in September 2024 and 1% higher than in August 2025.
