KSCA: In the center of Kiev, the traffic, closed metro station was restricted

In the center of Kiev on Saturday, June 14, there are temporary restrictions on traffic and changes in the work of the subway, according to the report of the patrol police of the capital.

According to law enforcement officers, the reason is official events.

Police say the following streets are blocked:

  • Str. Bohdan Khmelnitsky (from Khreshchatyk to Tereshchenko);
  • Str. Yevgeny Chikalenko (from Taras Shevchenko’s boulevard to the slit).

The department also warned about possible restrictions:

  • Khreschatyk Street;
  • Taras Shevchenko Boulevard;
  • Vladimir Street;
  • Mikhailovskaya Street;
  • Street slit;
  • Vladimir passage.

Law enforcement officers urged drivers to plan the route in advance and choose alternative ways to avoid congestion.

In addition, the KSCA press service stated that the Station “Theater” was temporarily closed to entrance and exit. Trains run past the station without stopping. Also, there is no transplant to the Golden Gate station.

The KSCA promised to report separately about the restoration of stations.

According to Radio Liberty correspondent, security measures before the Equality March have been enhanced in the center of Kiev.

The event should start after 9 am. Hundreds of law enforcement officers monitor the safety of the event, as the event and opponents of the event were pre -announced.
