Kornienko’s direct speech: “Tomorrow (December 26 – ed.) at 1:00 p.m., the first online meeting of the working group on the preparation of elections, referendums during martial law and in the post-war period is scheduled.

At present, about 60 people have already joined the working group. It will also be possible for people without the status of a member of the working group to join, but with the opportunity to participate.”
Details: Kornienko said that the working group includes two representatives from all factions and groups of the parliament, about 10 people from key public organizations, as well as representatives of executive authorities and law enforcement agencies.
Also in the group are 5 members of the Central Election Commission headed by the chairman. Kornienko said that the first meeting of the working group will include two large blocs. The first is organizational and will concern how the group will work, and in the second block they plan to listen to the speech of the Central Election Commission.
“Members of the CEC will prepare such an overview presentation, where they will raise all the problems that exist both in the elections during the martial law and in the post-war elections… And then we will simply exchange opinions on which of these problems and how to decide where to move… Well, we will work for about two hours,” he said, adding that the meeting will be broadcast online on social networks and on YouTube.

- On December 22, the head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arakhamia, announced that a working group is being formed in the Council, which will deal with the issue of presidential elections during martial law.
- On December 18, it became known that the Supreme Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and the newly elected head of the Servant of the People party Oleksandr Kornienko can lead the parliamentary working group on referendum and election issues, the creation of which is initiated by the leader of the faction Davyd Arahamiya.
