KMDA: in Kyiv, heat was restored for more than 3.5 thousand buildings after the attack of the Russian Federation

In Kyiv, heating has been restored to more than 3,500 buildings that were left without heating after the Russian attack on December 27, the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration reported in a telegram.

The KMDA declares that in a day and a half they restored the supply of heat to almost 400,000 homes that were left without heat due to the attack.

Kyiv authorities claim that restoration work continues in an intensified mode in order to fully stabilize the situation.

Russia launched another massive airstrike on Ukraine during the night and morning of December 27. One person died in Kyiv, more than 30 were injured. In the capital, there were interruptions with heat and energy supply, emergency shutdowns are applied.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba stated that due to the attack of the Russian Federation, more than 40% of residential buildings in Kyiv were left without heat.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
