An office building is on fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, heavy smoke is observed at the site, the city state administration reported in the morning of January 26.
“The fire broke out on the 1st floor of a 4-story office building on Khreshchatyk Street. Between the 2nd and 3rd floors, the floor collapsed,” the report said.
The cause of the fire is not reported. The State Emergency Service did not provide information about the fire.
Recently, a particularly difficult situation with energy and heat supply has developed in Kyiv. Due to the Russian strikes, there are emergency power outages, there is no heat in more than a thousand high-rise buildings.
