Do you think Ukraine is moving in its development rather …?

Also, the KIIS has published data on how the country’s development is evaluated by those who do not trust or trust President Vladimir Zelensky. In particular, among those who do not trust the President, the vast majority (82% in the case of those who do not trust at all, and 84% in the case of those who do not trust) believe that the country is moving to authoritarianism.

At the same time, those who trust the President are more optimistic about the development of the situation, but there are differentiation among them. Yes, among those who fully trust Zelensky, 76% talk about the movement to greater democracy and only 7% see the development of authoritarianism.

At the same time, among those who trust the President rather, 50% see the movement to democracy, and the proportion of those who sees the movement to authoritarianism reach 41%.

Ukraine is more likely to be more democracy/development of authoritarianism in the context of the President’s trust

Reference: Actually, the KIIS Omnibus survey on May 28 – June 3, 2025 was conducted by telephone interviews on the basis of a random sample of mobile telephone numbers (with accidental generation of telephone numbers and further statistical weighing) in all regions of Ukraine (government -controlled territory).
