Kherson’s strike: A pregnant woman and baby were injured

As a result of Russia, a woman and a child were injured in Kherson, the local authorities reported on the morning of April 7.

According to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, a pregnant woman with almost a two -year -old child was sent to one of the hospitals in the regional center:

“In Kherson in 1993, an explosive injury and a hematoma of the head. Doctors provide them with the necessary help. ”

The head of the region Oleksandr Proudin said that the woman and her son were under the rubble due to the hit of the Russian shell into the house.

“The mother covered the baby with her own body. The victims were taken from under rubble. They are now in a hospital where they receive all the necessary medical care. The boy has an explosive injury and a contusion. A woman who is in the sixth month of pregnancy was explosive and head injury, ”Proudin said.

The regional authorities previously reported that the day before Russian troops attacked more than 30 settlements of Kherson region. The shelling, in particular, damaged two high -rises and nine private homes.

“Due to Russian aggression, one person was killed, and five more were injured,” the statement said.

Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.

In the UN, 413 civilians were killed in Ukraine since the beginning of the year, and more than 2000 were injured in the first three months of 2025, the number of victims increased by 30% compared to the same period last year.
