On Sunday, September 29, the Israeli Air Force struck military facilities of the Houthis in Yemen – 1,800 km from Israel. This is reported by the Defense Army of the country in Telegram.
It is noted that the strikes were carried out in the areas of Ras-Isa and Hudeidah.
The IDF says their targets included power plants and an oil import seaport used by the terrorist Houthi regime to bring Iranian weapons and military cargo and oil into the region.
According to the IDF, the strikes were carried out in response to recent Houthi attacks on Israel.
The Israel Defense Forces said that over the past year, the Houthis have operated under the direction and funding of Iran and in cooperation with Iraqi militias to attack Israel, undermine regional stability and disrupt global freedom of navigation.
