Intruder Shot Dead at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Residence

In the early hours of February 22, a 20-year-old man attempted to breach the security of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, armed with a weapon. The incident occurred around 1:30 AM, leading to a fatal confrontation.

The unidentified individual was spotted near the northern gates carrying a gas canister and what appeared to be a firearm. According to Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw, when Secret Service agents ordered the man to drop his belongings, he discarded the canister but raised the weapon in a threatening manner. In response, law enforcement officers opened fire, resulting in the man’s death.

Officials confirmed that no Secret Service personnel or deputies were injured during the incident. An investigation is currently underway to determine the identity of the deceased and the motives behind his actions.

This incident is not the first involving armed individuals near Trump’s residences. In June of last year, a Secret Service agent discovered a rifle hidden in bushes at a golf club in West Palm Beach. The suspect, later identified as Ryan Routh, was arrested and subsequently sentenced to life in prison for attempting to kill the former president.

Additionally, in July 2024, a 20-year-old named Thomas Matthew Crooks fired a shot at Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The assailant was killed during the event.

A man attempted to breach security at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, resulting in his death after a confrontation with law enforcement. This incident adds to a troubling pattern of threats against the former president.
