British intelligence suggests that the high rate of Russian drone attacks observed in September and October will become a regular occurrence for Ukraine.

This is stated in the intelligence report of the British Ministry of Defense, published on Friday, November 8.

The intelligence officers noted that the Russian Federation launched about 2,000 drones over Ukraine during October 2024. This is about 700 units more than in September, the indicator has increased significantly for the third month in a row.

According to the British Ministry of Defense, thanks to Russian investment in the production of UAVs, the diversification of supplies and the expansion of launch sites, the number of attacks is constantly increasing from mid-2024.

During the first week of November, the intensity of Russian launches remained high and corresponded to the indicators of recent weeks. This is due to the fact that the launch pads are quite simple and easy to restore if necessary.

“If production continues unimpeded, the main limiting factor for Russian UAV operations is likely to be human resources relative to launch capacity,” the report said.

On the night of November 8, the Russian occupiers launched 92 drones over Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 62 drones.
