Intense Fighting Reported on Eastern Frontlines as Ukrainian Forces Engage Enemy

Since the start of February 20, the frontlines have seen 130 combat encounters, according to the latest report from the General Staff as of 10 PM.

The enemy launched one missile strike and conducted 65 airstrikes, dropping 161 guided bombs. Additionally, they deployed 5,115 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,249 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, two clashes took place. Meanwhile, in the Southern Slobozhansky area, the enemy attempted to storm Ukrainian positions four times.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were seven enemy attacks. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled seven assaults in the Lyman sector. The enemy also made eight attempts to advance in the Sloviansk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka area, Russian forces launched 15 assaults against Ukrainian defenders. The Pokrovsk direction saw 22 attacks, while the enemy attempted to improve their position twice in the Oleksandrivka area.

In the Hulyaipole direction, 18 attacks were reported, and in the Orikhiv area, the enemy made two attempts to breach defenses. Ukrainian units successfully repelled three enemy attacks aimed at the Antonivskyi Bridge in the Dniprovsk direction.

The ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine has intensified, with a significant number of combat encounters reported. Ukrainian forces continue to defend against multiple assaults across various regions, highlighting the persistent volatility of the situation.
