On April 3, significant military activity was reported along the front lines in eastern Ukraine, with 128 combat encounters occurring throughout the day. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that 30 of these clashes took place in the Pokrovsk direction.
According to the military update provided at 10 PM, the enemy launched three missile strikes using 37 missiles and conducted 40 airstrikes, dropping 140 guided bombs. Additionally, they deployed 6,531 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,663 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.
In various sectors, the fighting was intense. The North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions saw two combat engagements. Meanwhile, the South-Slobozhansky direction experienced five attacks on Ukrainian positions, and the Kupiansk direction faced five assaults as well.
Ukrainian forces repelled two assaults in the Lyman direction and encountered three attempts by the enemy to advance in the Sloviansk direction. The Konstantinivka sector was particularly active, with 18 attacks from the occupiers.
In total, the Pokrovsk direction witnessed 30 enemy attacks, while the Oleksandrivka direction recorded seven assaults. The Hulyaipole sector experienced 11 attacks, and Ukrainian defenders successfully halted one enemy advance near the settlement of Stepove in the Orikhiv direction. The Dnipro direction also saw five assault actions from Russian forces.
