Artificial intelligence company xAI may launch a standalone app for its Grok chatbot, which until now has only been available as part of the X interface.
Currently, users can access Grok through X, but only if they have a subscription. The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed sources, reports that xAI plans to launch a separate program for this artificial intelligence chatbot. It can happen already in December.
The launch will allow the chatbot of Elon Musk’s company to face competitors on the market. OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, and Anthropic’s Claude already have their own apps.
In addition, they all have free products in their range. NV Techno wrote that Grok is offered for free only in some markets and as a version with many restrictions.
