Vlad Cherevko I have been interested in all kinds of electronics and technologies since 2004. I like to play computer games, and I understand the work of different gadgets. I regularly monitor the news of the technology in the world and write materials about it.

Military
The Turel provides a wide fire management sector -165 °, as well as vertical pointing angles from -5 ° to +65 °, which allows firing straight and indirect guidance. Integrated software contains a ballistic calculator that automatically calculates height and roll corrections. The module operator can also mark the goals on the digital map, and the system remembers them and is automatically given when they are changed.
In addition, it is possible to set up fire sectors, choose firing modes and hold a “hot shoot”. The optics of the module includes viewing and sighting chambers with digital zoom.
According to the developers, the codification of “Saber MK19 (M)” opens the way to serial deliveries to the army, enhancing the combat capabilities of defense forces in the complex sections of the front.
History
The first Turel “Saber” was first used in combat in 2014. It was officially admitted to the Armed Forces in September 2023, and in January 2024, Ukraine for the first time regulated this combat platform.

Saber’s development began after the Dignity Revolution in 2014, when a group of enthusiastic engineers decided to create an automated fire system. Since then, Turel has been evolution.
In 2024, more than 300 such installations were already used at the front, and they received positive feedback from the military. Fighters of the 5th Separate Assault of the Kiev Brigade and the Battalion “Wolves Da Vinci” actively use “saber” in combat missions together with the ground drone “Lynx”.
