In Ukraine, Mitla’s disposable mesh was created to fight FPV-Dron

Vlad Cherevko I have been interested in all kinds of electronics and technologies since 2004. I like to play computer games, and I understand the work of different gadgets. I regularly monitor the news of the technology in the world and write materials about it.

The Ukrainian company Teneta has introduced (through “militaristic”) a new remedy for the fight against hostile drones is a disposable Mitla 1 mesh. Its main function is to neutralize FPV-punks and reconnaissance quadcopters by braiding their screws with a special grid.

Mitla weighs 365 grams and has a compact size – 200 mm long and 40 mm in diameter, so it is easily placed on military equipment. For use, it is enough to pull out the fuse, to aim and a shot with a special button, after which a 3.5 × 3.5 meter mesh thrown is thrown automatically from 0.2C from the moment of departure and interferes with the movement of the drone.

Mitla demonstrates stable work under different temperature conditions – both in heat and frost. The maximum firing range is up to 25 meters. The device has a strong return due to the use of 7.62 mm pyropatron, so it is recommended to keep it with both hands.

Mitla is positioned as an inexpensive solution for rapid response to threats from the air, especially relevant in a positional combat.

Also, Brave1’s defensive cluster was initiated by the development of antitrone rounds to combat hostile FPV-Drones. These 1.56 mm cells have a special combat part, which will help to significantly increase the chances of affecting the FPV-Dron or Mavik before he has time to attack.
