President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, by his decree # 14/2025, established in Ukraine the Day of the State Special Transport Service, which will be celebrated annually on February 5.
The corresponding decision was made in accordance with the significant contribution of the State Special Transport Service to ensure the sustainable functioning of transport in peacetime and in a special period.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov appealed to the servicemen of the service, thanking them for their important work.
Dear DSST servicemen! Thank you for your daily work that makes Ukraine stronger. You are an invisible but extremely important front of our defense. I wish good health, endurance and new professional achievements!
The head of the defense department noted that the DSST servicemen are those who ensure the uninterrupted operation of the infrastructure, even in the most difficult conditions of war. They restore bridges and roads, strengthen critical objects, organize their defense.
