In Ukraine, electricity consumption has increased: Ukrenergo called the reason

On the morning of Friday, January 31, Ukraine increased in Ukraine compared to last day, according to Ukrenergo press service.

“Today, January 31, as of 9:30, the level of electricity consumption was 2% higher than the previous day – on Thursday. The reason is cloudy weather in most regions, which led to a decrease in the efficiency of household SES, ”the press service said.

Ukrenergo noted that “the situation in the power system may change. On the power facilities affected by massive Russian attacks, renewable work is ongoing. ”

At the same time, the Ministry of Energy noted that during the day of January 30, repair crews healed 31 406 consumers who were deactivated as a result of hostilities.

Russian troops caused another large -scale rocket attack in Ukraine on January 15. Ukrenergo operator introduced about emergency shutdowns in several areas. The head of the Lviv region reported two hits in critical infrastructure in the region.

According to the Ministry of Energy, since October 2022, Russia has inflicted more than a thousand strokes on the objects of Ukrainian energy infrastructure, only in 2024, 9 GW of generating capacity was lost due to strikes.
