Details: According to “UP” sources, it is about judge Oleksandr Pelikh. He was detained while receiving a $1,300 bribe.

The judge’s actions were qualified under part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “requesting and receiving an unlawful benefit”.

Verbatim police: “As part of the pre-trial investigation carried out by NABU detectives, it was established that in the period from 15.09.2025 to 28.11.2025, the judge expressed a request to the director of the private company to grant him and third parties an undue benefit for canceling the arrest and returning the property to the company for responsible storage. We are talking about 20 cubic meters of timber.

The judge provided advice on preparing a motion to vacate the property and detailed instructions on when to file it to avoid distribution to another investigating judge.

On November 28, 2025, the judge exposed the receipt of $1,300 in illegal benefits, which he veiledly called “candy”.
