One person was killed and 16 injured in a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning during a graduation celebration at Tuskegee University in Alabama, USA.
Jaquez Mirick, 25, of Montgomery, was charged with possession of an assault rifle, according to US authorities. The weapon was found when Myrick left the scene of the shooting.
It was not said whether Myrick was a student at the historically black college where the shooting occurred.
The FBI has joined the investigation and said it is seeking information from the public, as well as any video witnesses may have. He created a website for people to upload videos.
