According to the Sheriff County Kutai Bob Norris, rescuers and police came under a sniper firing who used powerful sports rifles “to shoot quickly on rescuers.” The attacker was in thick shrubs, was well prepared and was able to disguise skillfully.
Subsequently, the Swat special unit discovered the body of a man with a gun nearby. Law enforcement officers do not reject that the fire could be intentionally arranged in order to lure the rescuers into the trap.
