In Indiana, the deputy sheriff shot a man whom President Donald Trump had pardoned last week in the Capitol’s storm in 2021.

According to the Associated Press and NBC News, 42-year-old Matthew Gattl was fatally injured on January 26 after his car was stopped by police Jasper.

According to law enforcement officers, a quarrel arose during an attempt between Gattl and Sheriff’s deputy sheriff, during which the suspect resisted and had a firearm. After the storm in the Capitol, a joint meeting of the two houses of the Congress resumed, which officially approved the results of the presidential election and the victory of Biden.

On January 13, the House of Representatives approved the Trump impeachment resolution. The case was transferred to the Senate, which in a month found him innocent in inciting the assault of the Capitol. There were no 10 votes for impeachment.

According to the media, in early August 2021, four police officers who opposed the Capitol’s invaders committed suicide.

According to the US Ministry of Justice, within 32 months after the storm, the Capitol was detained 1146 people, 657 of them found guilt and concluded agreements with the investigation. The courts managed to make 623 sentences – the two accused were fully justified, 41 partially, 378 were punished by imprisonment.
