In the capital of the Russian Federation, the Second Western District Military Court condemned the 18-year-old activist of the left socialist action by Gagika Grigoryan to seven years of colony in the case of preparation for the murder of the military, reports the newspaper “Mediazon” with reference to his correspondent from the courtroom.

The left socialist action reported that a 17-year-old schoolboy Grigoryan in October 2023 disappeared. At the same time, he was entered in the Rosfinmonitoring Register as an accused under a terrorist article. The details of the accusation were not revealed – Grigoryan was able to report them only in June 2024 in a letter from the pre -trial detention center.

The activist said that, among other things, he was accused of “preparing for the liquidation of the lieutenant colonel of the Russian army.” In general, Grigoryan was accused of five articles of the Criminal Code: betrayal, preparation for a terrorist attack, participation in the terrorist community, storage of explosives and smuggling of an explosive device.

The article on the smuggling of the explosive device Grigoryan was justified, but was found guilty for the rest.

The close activist told Sotavision that did not receive letters from him since August 2024.
