Literally: “On November 28 of this year, the perpetrators carried out a terrorist attack in the Vyshgorod district of the Kyiv region. Then, on the instructions of the Russian special services, the perpetrators detonated an improvised explosive device near the building of the local district police department. No one was injured as a result of the incident.”
Details: Both perpetrators were found in hot pursuit. Later it turned out that they were recruited remotely through Telegram channels in search of quick earnings.
For the terrorist attack, the teenagers used an explosive device, disguised as a thermos, to prepare the terrorist attack. They got the explosives, packed with nuts and bolts to enhance the striking effect, from a cache organized by the occupiers.
The attackers, following the instructions of the Russian special services, installed a mobile phone near the administrative building to broadcast the explosion in real time. For remote detonation, they used another phone with software provided to them by the occupiers.
All the actions of the participants were directed by a representative of the special services of the Russian Federation, who disguised himself under the girl’s account and promised money for completing the task. However, the suspects never received the promised money.
During the searches, mobile phones and other evidence of subversive activities in favor of the aggressor state were seized from them. The SBU informed them about the suspicion under part. 2 Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act).
Despite the young age of the detainees, they face up to 12 years of imprisonment for committing a particularly serious crime.
