Law enforcement officers of the Kyiv region informed about the suspicion of a 43-year-old man who, as a result of a fight, caused fatal injuries to the victim. The incident occurred when the man, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, had a conflict with passers-by.
During a verbal altercation, a fight broke out between the victim and a bystander. The suspect intervened in this situation and inflicted multiple blows on the body and face of the man. As a result of the injuries received, the victim suffered internal organ damage and died. After the incident, the perpetrator fled from the scene.
The police carried out operative and search measures using the “Safe Kyiv region” video surveillance system, which made it possible to identify the suspect and establish his location.
The man was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility.
