In the afternoon of September 22, a man staged a shooting in one of the shops of the Obukhiv district. As a result of the incident, people were injured. Currently, the attacker has been detained by law enforcement officers. This was announced by the National Police, reports UNN.

As the law enforcement officers said, around two o’clock in the afternoon, the police received a report that an unknown man entered a store in Obukhiv Oblast and started shooting randomly.

The attacker injured the saleswoman and the owner of the establishment, and fled.

The policemen arrived at the scene, called for medical assistance, established the identity of the intruder and began an operation to detain the chair. He turned out to be a 36-year-old local resident with a previous conviction.

The law enforcement officers promptly detained the person involved in the procedural order. Medics provided help to the injured, now their lives are not in danger.

Investigators have started criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Hooliganism committed with the use of weapons). The figure is threatened with deprivation of liberty for a term of up to seven years
