In the village of Claudiev-Tarasovo, Buchan district of Kyiv region, a child was injured due to a grenade explosion, the National Police reports on May 2.

The investigation was reported that a 12-year-old boy found two grenades in a utility room in a private home. He twisted the passion from one of them and took the grenade outside.

“During the game, the device was in detonation in the child’s hand. The boy was injured and was hospitalized at a medical institution, ”police said.

Law enforcement officers found and seized at the scene the corps of grenades “RGD-5” and “F-1”, as well as a suburb of hand grenades “UZRGM-2”. According to the press service, the teenager’s father kept ammunition at the place of residence.

The 41-year-old man was detained, the police opened proceedings under articles on illegal storage of ammunition and careless storage of ammunition.

“The police of the Kyiv region again urges citizens not to store explosive objects in everyday life. Such irresponsibility can have tragic consequences, ”the department adds.

The other day, one police officer was killed, three were injured as a result of a grenade explosion in Mykolaiv region. An explosive object was thrown by a man who was found by law enforcement officers at the scene because of a family quarrel.
