“As a result of dropping explosives from a drone, a 62-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man received explosive injuries and shrapnel injuries to their limbs. Both victims were taken to the hospital for medical assistance,” the message reads.
The head of the Kherson MBA, Roman Mrochko, reported that two victims (a man born in 1963 and a woman born in 1962) were sent to one of the Kherson medical facilities. They suffered a mine-explosive injury when Russian troops attacked their car from a drone.
Russian troops attack Ukrainian regions with drones every day. Most often, the authorities of Kherson region, Sumy region, Chernihiv region and Kharkiv region report dropping explosives from Russian drones on civilians.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
As of the end of October, the UN reported that it was able to confirm data on the death of 12,162 civilians in Ukraine and the wounding of 26,919 since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. The organization emphasized that the real data could be much higher.
