There were 172 combatants on the front of the last day, the most fighting was in the Pokrovsky direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported on September 5.

“In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 47 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of settlements of Volodymyrivka, Kucheriv Yar, Rubizhne, Nikanorivka, Ivanivka, Lighthouse, Rodinsky, Sukha Yar, Zavorev, Mirovolyubivka, Kotlyne, Novo -Economic, Raven, and Pokrovsk Balagan, ”the message reads.

In addition, 28 Russian attacks were in the Siverskyi direction, 21 – in Novopavlovsky, 18 – in Lymansky, testify to the General Staff.

The fighting also lasted in the North Slobozhansky, Kursk, South Slobozhansky, Kupyansk, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Orikhiv and Dnieper directions.

On August 31, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, after the report of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Sirsky, stated that the Russian army concentrates the greatest efforts in the Pokrovsky direction and, “accordingly, the greatest losses.”
