In turn, the European Commission spokesman Balazh Uywari added that the European officials were “open to such discussions as part of G7 meetings”.

“Of course, what other participants do (G7. -” EP “) is their decision. But we are open to such discussions, and, of course, this issue will be raised at future G7 meetings,” he said.

As reported by “European Truth”, the President of the European Commission Ursula von Der Lyen acknowledged that providing a “reparation loan” to Ukraine on the basis of frozen assets of Russia is a sensitive issue that causes hesitation in many EU Member States.

At the same time, the EU Callas Chief Diplomat emphasized that the idea with the so -called “reparation loan” of Ukraine using Russian assets in Europe is inherently do not contradict international law.
