In Russia’s Rostov region, the one-time regional payment for contractors going to war against Ukraine was increased from 1 million 300 thousand (538 thousand hryvnias) to 1 million 600 thousand rubles (over 662 thousand hryvnias). This is the sixth increase since the beginning of the year, the amount of the payment has increased eightfold for the year, as early as February 2024, the amount of the payment was 200,000 rubles.

“Kommersant – Yug Rossii” informs about the increase in the regional payment with reference to the press service of the regional government. Together with the federal part, the one-time payment will now amount to 2 million rubles.

The 161.ru site clarifies that this money will be received by persons who conclude a contract in the Rostov region, and these are both Russian citizens and foreigners.
