Details: Senior prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist noted that “currently, the investigation indicates that the suspect was in the hands of Russian intelligence.”

The man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of espionage.

The man, who is about 35 years old, worked as a consultant for the Armed Forces through an IT consulting company between 2018 and 2022.

What happened before:
