The 38-year-old Salvan Momika, who had previously burned the Qur’an, was shot dead last night in Sedertelier south of Stockholm.
The man was found shot at the crime scene in the apartment and delivered to the hospital
Police confirmed that a man with a gunshot wound died.
The Swedish police did not name the name of the man, but several Swedish media, learned that it was Salvan Momic.

Momics became known when the Qur’an burned in several parts of Sweden in 2023, including Malme. He was accused of igniting racial hatred for this.
Salvan Momics comes from Iraq and grew up with a Catholic. During the persecution of Christians by the Islamic State in the late 00’s, he was a guardian of the pro-Christian Assyrian Patriotic Party in Mosul.
After controversy with the leader in his group Salvan Momika fled to Germany in 2017. He later moved to Sweden, where he received a temporary residence permit in 2021. At the beginning of his life in this country, he received a criminal record of a man with a knife.
