For reference: According to the Russian Agency Interfax, Mordvichev commanded the Center Group. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that in February 2024 under his command, this group occupied Avdiivka.
According to the official biography, Mordvichev was born on January 14, 1976 in Pavlodar (Kazakhstan). In 1997 he graduated from the Novosibirsk Higher General Command School, and in 2006 – the All -Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
After graduating from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Federation in 2016 he was appointed Deputy Commander of the Corps. From 2017 to 2019, Mordvichov was the head of the staff, the first deputy commander of the Army of the Central Military District.
From 2019 to 2021-Chief of Staff, First Deputy Commander of the 8th All-Military Army of the Southern Military District. From 2021 to 2022-commander of the 8th All-Military Army of the Southern Military District. And from 2022 to 2023 – Deputy Commander of the Southern Military District.
In 2023, Mordvicheva was appointed commander of troops of the Central Military District.
