On Wednesday, January 8, the leaders of the parties of the ruling coalition of Romania agreed on the date of the repeated first round of the presidential elections – it will be held on May 4. This is reported by Digi24.
The message says that the first round of elections will be held on May 4, and the second on May 18.
As the leaders of the government coalition explained, the dates are related to the need to hold by-elections in some districts at the same time and to ensure that voting does not overlap with national holidays in the spring.
