In Poltava, law enforcement officers are investigating an incident involving the head of a psychiatric hospital, – OVA

There was an incident in Poltava that required the intervention of the police. An official investigation is currently underway, law enforcement officers are also studying the situation, after which they will be able to give their assessment of the event. This was announced by Philip Pronin, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reports UNN.

The details of the event will be provided after a full study of all the circumstances, the matter is under the control of OVA.

UNN wrote that on December 16, there was a conflict between local residents in Poltava over a walnut tree in the yard of an apartment building. A 40-year-old man, who drove an excavator in a drunken state, tried to tear down a tree, which, in his opinion, was obstructing the parking of his car. During the maneuvers, he destroyed the fence, which led to a quarrel with the residents. According to eyewitnesses, the man took out a traumatic gun and started shooting. All participants were injured.

The police opened criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Hooliganism). The investigation is ongoing.
