According to the investigation, on January 31 this year, a woman gave birth to a boy at the place of residence in the morning.

After childbirth, she threw wet clothes on the newborn, which limited the baby’s access to air. According to the medical certificate, the death of the child came as a result of asphyxia

It is stated that the woman was not registered in connection with pregnancy. She gave birth at home, despite the fact that at the time of childbirth, she had the opportunity to contact a medical institution.

The woman was informed about the suspicion of the premeditated murder of her newborn baby (Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The issue of choosing a precautionary measure in the form of house arrest is currently being resolved.

The prosecutor’s office also added that a 34-year-old suspect is a large mother.
