The landfill is planned to work out the interaction of different types of troops: armored, mechanized, artillery and air forces.
Among the equipment presented will be, in particular, Abrams tanks, howitzers K9, WR-40 LANGUSTA starting installations, RAK mortars, Rosomak armored personnel carriers, Piorun and Spike kits.
F-35 and F-16 fighters, as well as AH-64 Apache helicopters, will be provided from the air.
Maneuvers in Orzhis are part of the large -scale exercises “Iron Defender” – the largest military maneuvers of this type in Poland in 2025. Maneuvers include actions on land, sea and air with the participation of land, aviation, naval fleet, special forces and territorial troops. 30,000 soldiers and 600 vehicles from Poland and NATO countries take part in the exercises.
A day earlier, maneuvers in the mouth were taken place, where for the first time in Poland was shown lastics from Patriot air defense systems. On Thursday, the following training is scheduled for a landfill in Nova Dembe.
It was also reported that Romania will undergo military exercises with the participation of 5,000 soldiers, during which an attack on NATO member country will be imitated.
