In Odessa SBU exposed the management of the “Updated MSEC” on the scheme with fictitious references

In Odesa region, law enforcement officers detained the head and two members of the local expert team for evaluating the daily functioning of the person (former MSEC). They are suspected of trade in fictitious medical documents to evade mobilization.

Details: According to the investigation, the suspects offered the conscripts unreasonable certificates of allegedly serious illnesses, which became the basis for establishing a disability group.

Details: The cost of such “services” was from $ 3,000.

It is noted that the scheme included the administrator of the commission, the chairman of the cardiologist and the medical registrar. They managed to get “orders” from at least fifty SBU detained the defendants “on hot” while receiving regular bribes. They seized draft records, personal cases of conscripts and smartphones with evidence of illegal activity.

The defendants were informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code – obtaining an undue benefit by an official, as well as under Part 1 of Art. 114-1 of the Criminal Code – obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.

The court chose them a pre -trial detention measure without bail. The detainee faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Law enforcement officers are currently checking the involvement in the crime of other officials, as well as those who could use the services of this scheme.
