According to Dmitry Sluta, Head of the Investigation Department of the Investigation Department of the SUNP Investigation Directorate in the Odessa region, the 18-year-old driver of the BMW X5 car was not managed and operated into the roadside.
Law enforcement officers say that a 17-year-old passenger was killed as a result of a road accident, two more passengers of 18 and 20 years were hospitalized with various injuries.
The driver’s check for intoxication showed that he was drunk. Investigators detained the new moon in procedural order, the press service noted.
“We have entered information about the event in the Unified Register of Pre -trial Investigations under Part 3 of Art. 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It is a violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons who drive vehicles in a state of intoxication if they caused the death of the victim. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same term. The issue of notifying the person’s suspicion and election of a preventive measure is currently being resolved. The vehicle has been removed and a number of examinations will be carried out, ”the Sluta added.
Earlier, the local edition of Poltava region reported with reference to the regional police about the collision of a car with a patrol car.
As a result of an accident, a civilian car was hospitalized with injuries. There were two police and two civilians in the patrol car. One police officer and a passenger were killed, others were injured. At the same time, the patrol police reported the death of her 23-year-old employee Anatoly Ilyashenko.
