Details: Stoyonlo and opposition policies Ion Cheban (mayor of Chisinau), Mark Tkachuk and Ion Kika stated that they were uniting into the Alternative political block. In total, it will have three parties and the team is stoolan.
“To prevent interpretations, we stand for European integration as the main purpose of the country. We speak and write Romanian. We know that in Ukraine war. We have to focus on the needs of our citizens,” said Ion Cheban at a joint press conference of politicians.
In his speech, Stoyanis spoke about the need to unite society and not divide the country “into their own and alien” according to different criteria.
“The” alternative “block will protect and promote the interests of Moldovans and Romanians, Russians and Ukrainians, Gagauz, Bulgarians, Roma and representatives of other nationalities,” he said.
Ion Cheban is the leader of the National Alternative Movement Party. In 2019, he won the election of the mayor of Chisinau thanks to the support of pro -Russian socialists, but then left the party. At the end of 2021, he created his own political force.
Stoyonlo was the Attorney General of Moldova under the presidency of Igor Dodon and after the change of power collided with criminal proceedings. Mark Tkachuk was a member of the Communist Party for more than 10 years, and in 2020 with his associates founded the Civic Congress Party.
