“The remains will be exhuman, they will be laid out, and DNA analysis will be examined. And only after that we can name the specific figures, how many dead people were buried here. The victims should be verified with forensic experts and only after that they are only Poles, or there are Ukrainians who fought in the Polish army. This is a matter of additional research, ”says Andriy Nadzos, Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.
