The Lviv Railway District Court found guilty of treason and illegal handling of weapons of the chief of the apartment and operational service of the Lviv military unit, Major Yuri Lavryk, and appointed him 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Details: According to the investigation, the FSB recruited Lavryk through his former wife – a resident of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhya region, which moved to the side of the Russian Federation.

During March – June 2024, he shot the location of personnel and equipment in Lviv and handed the video via Telegram. Lavryk also bought starting packages of Ukrainian mobile operators and, through his ex -wife, handed them to the FSB curators for the work of the agent network.

During the search in June, the SBU seized the AC-74U machine and 30 rounds, which he kept at home.

In court, Major pleaded guilty and confirmed that he had cooperated with the FSB and handed over a video with military dislocations in Lviv. He stated that he brought the weapon from Kryvyi Rih, but why he did not report it – could not explain.

The panel of judges under the chairmanship of Andriy Lyusha condemned him under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 111 and Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sentence can still be appealed.
