In Kyiv, an employee of a gas station in the Podilskyi district was attacked at night after refusing to sell alcohol, two men were notified of the suspicion, the GUNP in the capital reported on Thursday on social networks, writes UNN.

The perpetrators, aged 21 and 24, came to the gas station store at night and demanded the employee to sell them alcohol. When the latter refused them, the suspects went outside and during a sudden conflict attacked another employee, beat him and smashed his mobile phone

The event took place last weekend in the Podilsky district of the capital. According to the report, at around 2 o’clock in the morning, two young men came to the gas station store and began to demand from the employee to sell them alcohol. The woman refused them, and the latter started a conflict and went outside, where they saw another worker, a 45-year-old man.

“The extras attacked the victim and began to kick him and hit him with a metal stick, as a result of which the latter lost his balance and fell to the ground. During the fall, his mobile phone fell out of the gas station’s pocket, which the attackers broke with their foot and threw at the victim. As a result of the beating, the man received a closed cranial brain injury and concussion,” the police reported.

The police, as indicated, searched for the attackers and took them to the police station.

“The offenders were two local residents aged 21 and 24,” the police said.

The extras were informed of suspicions of committing a crime, provided for in Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of public order on the grounds of clear disrespect for society, accompanied by special audacity, committed by a group of persons, with the use of an object prepared in advance to cause bodily harm. The men face up to seven years in prison.
