Details: The pre-trial investigation established that the man started an argument in the changing room of the skating rink, where there were a lot of people, and later a fight because someone threw his things on the floor.
He struck another visitor, who was changing clothes next to him, several times in the head and face. Other people tried to calm the man, but he did not react. At the same time, there were many children in the locker room who were frightened by the aggressor’s behavior.
After the fight, the man quickly left the scene of the conflict.
Due to his aggressive behavior, the rink temporarily stopped working to ensure the safety of visitors.
Thanks to surveillance cameras, the man was found and informed about the suspicion.
photo of NPU His actions are qualified under Part 1 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely as hooliganism, i.e. gross violation of public order on the grounds of clear disrespect for society, accompanied by special audacity or exceptional cynicism.
For committed hooliganism, the suspect faces a fine, probation supervision for a term of up to five years, or restriction of freedom for the same term.
