In Kyiv, the director of a sports school is suspected of losses of 1.2 million hryvnias

In Kyiv, the director of the children’s and youth sports school subordinated to the Department of Youth and Sports of the executive body of the KMDA was informed about the suspicion. The reason was an overpayment of 1.2 million hryvnias during the repair of the playground. The press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office informs about this, reports UNN.

Under the procedural guidance of the juvenile prosecutors of the Podilsk District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Kyiv, the director of the children’s and youth sports school subordinated to the Department of Youth and Sports of the executive body of the KMDA was notified of the suspicion (Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that the suspect concluded a contract with a private enterprise for the purchase and installation of a playground with a playing field and sanitary facilities for a total amount of over 3 million hryvnias.

At the same time, the commodity examination showed that the market value of the playground with a playing field and a sanitary facility is about 1.8 million hryvnias.

According to the conclusion of the economic examination, as a result of the purchase of the site at an almost doubled cost, the territorial community suffered losses in the amount of more than 1.2 million hryvnias

According to the press service, the pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigators of the Podilsky UP GUNP in the city of Kyiv under the operational support of the State Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
