The organizer of the group turned out to be a former employee of the Metropolitan Military Commissariat, previously convicted of corruption crimes. The perpetrator involved in the scheme a current official of the RTCC and a doctor of the city hospital. By now, they have all been notified of the suspicion.
According to the National Police, the doctor provided the men with fake medical documents, and the employee of the TCC facilitated the passage of the military medical commission. In this way, men received a “white ticket”, which gave them the opportunity to go abroad. Mobilization evasion services cost those interested from $7,000 to $15,000.
The police conducted a series of searches in the places of residence of the detainees, in the premises of the TCC and the hospital. Medical documentation, draft records, computer equipment, various media, mobile phones, as well as 5 million hryvnias were seized.
It is noted that the central military medical commission canceled the previous decisions of the district military medical commissions regarding those men who managed to use the “services” of the attackers.
The investigators informed three participants of the OZH that they were suspected of having committed criminal offenses under Part 3 Art. 332 (Illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine in a special period or during the operation of the legal regime of martial law), ch. 3 Art. 28, ch. 1 Art. 369-2 (Abuse of influence), ch. 5th century 27, ch. 3 Art. 15, Art. 336 (Evasion of conscription) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The organizer and another figure were remanded in custody with bail, and the third offender is under night house arrest.
The sanction of the most severe article provides up to nine years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years with confiscation of property.
